Wash your towels in hot water with a cup of vinegar, then run again in hot water with a half cup of baking soda. That will strip your towels from all the residue & mildew smell and will leave them feeling fluffy & smelling fresh.

Awesome!! One of my biggest pet peeves- stinky towels! Wash your towels in hot water with a cup of vinegar, and then run again in hot water with a half-cup of baking soda. That will strip your towels from all of that residue and mildew smell and will actually leave them feeling fluffy and smelling fresh. ***Do not add laundry detergent to either wash. Just once with vinegar and once with baking soda. *** This trick also works well with wet bathing suits that were left to dry.

Going to try this... Strip towels of detergent buildup and make them smell brand new. Wash towels in hot water with one cup distilled white vinegar. Wash towels again in hot water with 1/2 cup baking soda. Run through dryer and towels smell better than ever!

re-fluffing your towels: Wash towels with 1 cup of vinegar on hot, then wash again with 1/2 cup of baking soda on hot. Voila! Fresh & fluffy like new!

Over time, towels build up detergent and fabric softener, leaving them unable to absorb as much water and smelling funky. Recharge them by washing them once with hot water and one cup vinegar, then a second time with hot water and half cup baking soda. This strips the residue and leaves them fresh and able to absorb more water again. Works like a charm!

How to keep a toilet clean (much longer) -1/4 Cup of Baking Soda -1/2 Cup of Vinegar -2 Cups of Hot Water

Make your cleaning vinegar smell GOOD! Great for the boy who plugs his nose while cleaning the bathroom!

Make your own fabric softener for fresh-smelling, chemical-free laundry for just pennies!

Towels that just never smelled or felt clean are CURED!! They smell amazing. Cant wait to get a shower tomorrow!

Soak orange peels in vinegar for two weeks in a sealed mason jar then pour the vinegar into a spray bottle. Use as a non-toxic and yummy smelling "green" cleaner. I love using vinegar to clean with but have always wondered how to make it smell better - can't wait to do this!
