Back in the day when shoes lasted!

Remember having your foot measured at the shoe store? Did you know this was called a "Brannock Device"? Remember when shoe salesmen used to measure your foot and bring you each box of shoes you wanted to try on?

Flash cubes ... Mom, "say cheese," - "oh wait, I forgot to turn the flash, say cheese again."

Flashcubes - You slid a lever to spin the flash after EACH picture. 4 flashes on each bulb then that was it, you had to pop in another flash cube. No cube? No flash! I can still remember the smell they made after you flashed one.

1960s - FRESCA - (meaning 'fresh' from Spanish), first introduced in the United States in 1966

Fresca My sister drank these all the time. When my youngest was about seven, my sister offered her some Fresca and my baby asked me if it was an alcoholic beverage. Guess she thought Aunt Maxine was trying to corrupt her.

Green Stamps. :)

H Green Stamps. my mom used to save them.got them at the grocery store and after she had a bunch saved we would stick them in a stamp book and take them to the stamp store and she would pick something out for the house

Chinese Checkers in a Tin with Regular Checkers on the other side and marbles and red/black checkers inside. I loved playing Chinese Checkers! Getting the tin open could prove to be an adventure at times.

We put this crap on our boo boos when I was a kiddo, it stained our skin a bright pink red color!!

my dad would always put this on my scrapes/cuts. The bright red color made me think my bruise was even worse than it was. And it stung like fire on a cut or scrape.
