Melissa Wiley's books about Laura Ingalls Wilder's Scottish great-grandmother, Martha Morse Tucker. If you loved the Little House books (not the tv series! UGH) as a kid you'll secretly hide away and read these as an adult! I know I will!

Exploring Scotland with Martha Morse, Laura Ingalls Wilder's great-grandmother. A Bonny Glen resource-sharing post: books, music, poetry, and costume links. Needs updating but still some fun stuff here. :)

Sooo Sad when the series ended. Favorite parts: The fancy glass windows in the big house before the crickets devoured everything in sight, grinding wheat during the Long Winter in a coffee grinder, Laura rocking the desk right off the school floor, and of course, her courtship with Almonzo!
