This "toile" fabric is intriguing. "The curtain fabric is by Timorous Beasties, an avant-garde Scottish textile and fabric designer. At first glimpse, you think it is a traditional toile depicting sweet rural scenes when, in fact, it shows down-and-out life in contemporary London." (via Design Sponge)
Very nicely done, but I usually install valances higher to show more of the window & let in more light. Designers can help you with that type of thing that will enhance your windows.
Ariele Alasko and Isiah Palmer's apartment via design sponge "The mountain goat head is actually not taxidermy at all, but rather something I made by carving foam and covering it with vintage rabbit fur; the horns and nose are made from wax and black pigment. The portrait was a 5 dollar junk store find, the ceramic horse I made years ago, and the rusted metal pieces are happy beach discoveries."
