Doc Holliday (1851-1887). American gambler, gunfighter, and dentist of the American Old West who is usually remembered for his friendship with Wyatt Earp and his involvement in the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral.
Doc Holliday #5 - Embroiled in the local politics and violence leading up to the famous Gunfight at the O.K. Corral and due to the proximity of his room to the area the Clantons and McLaurys confronted the Earps, Holliday may have thought they were there to assassinate him. He and Wyatt Earp stayed in Tombstone to exact retribution on Ike Clanton and the Cowboys. Facing a murder warrant, he left for Colorado. While there, he and Wyatt Earp parted ways.
Joseph Isaac (Ike) Clanton (1847 – June 1, 1887) He is best known for being a member of group of outlaw Cowboys that had ongoing conflicts with lawmen Wyatt, Virgil, Morgan Earp and Wyatt's friend Doc Holliday. The Clantons repeatedly threatened the Earps because they interfered with the Cowboys' illegal activities. On October 26, 1881, Ike was present at the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral in the boomtown of Tombstone, Arizona Territory, but was unarmed and ran from the gunfight.
