Painted floor. So cool! If I ever have an OLD farmhouse. (Not doing that to new construction, of course!)

Painted wood floor: fill in any large gouges or scrapes, and sand the entire floor lightly. you can use nearly any paint on the floor, but if you're concerned about it rubbing off with traffic, talk to the people in the paint store/department. you can also get clear acrylic sealer to paint over the floor once it's dried and once cured, it'll protect the paint job.

Painting the basement floor and making a fake rug with this Pattern! Going to be cool!

hmm...maybe if i just painted a rug like this on part of my floor in the kitchen? (floors by Merrilee McCommas McGehee via Katie Maennle).

Love the wall color, shades, and floor...and that frame is just great.

painted bathroom floor | Flickr - Photo Sharing! wouldn't use this color scheme or pattern but it's a good idea start point.

Love these wooden painted floors (found via From London with Love)

Upper deck staining idea, nice to use longer lasting deck stains instead of opaque deck paint.

kitchen inspiration photos. Remembering to tie in kitchen cabinets to d.r., so a weathered blue might work. Like the light fixtures and farmhouse sink.

Teal floor... cool idea! Love the red couch too. I know apartments are small, but this room is a little cluttered. I would spread it, take out the bed, make the sofa a hida-bed or put a Murphy Bed in there. ; )
