This image is giving me some new ideas. Liking the elevated bed and added storage. The raised surface looks to be 10"-12" inches wider than the mattress.

Adorable color, I just would want the side rail to go all the way to the edge of the bed so a kid doesn't get stuck.
bunkbeds - like the look of the fabric(maybe) at the back of the bunkbeds. This may work for different colors rather than different paint colors.

Three beds, lots of storage, one small space. Useful space for 3 kids sharing a bedroom. If there's 2 kids, they have extra space for a friend to sleep over.
