"Hot Pockets...freeze them ahead of time and pull them out as needed." THESE ARE NOT HOT POCKETS! THEY ARE PIZZA ROLLS! MY FAMILY HAS BEEN MAKING THEM FOR YEARS!

Homemade Hot Pockets: Make your favorite dough recipe, after first rise, divide into appropriate portions for individual sandwich rolls. Roll out a piece of dough, arranged a layer of filling (Ham & Cheese, Chicken & Veggies, Philly Cheesesteak) and then rolled them up, being careful to seal the ends and edges. Place them seam side down on a parchment lined cookie sheet (Sprinkle with herbs/spices/cheese if you'd like) Let them rise again and bake. These freeze great an if you reheat in the microwave/oven on parchment paper they will be crisp and fresh, not soggy. I'm slowly but surely trying to decrease our intake of processed foods :)
