  • Collector's Shangri-La

Today marks the birthday of Jim Henson (1936 – 1990), the most widely known puppeteer in American history and creator of The Muppets. He was the leading source behind their long run in the television series Sesame Street and the creator of advanced puppets for projects like Fraggle Rock, The Dark Crystal, and Labyrinth. Our Collector’s Treasure of the Day is this original felt tip sketch of Kermit the Frog on an off-white 5 x 3 card, whimsically signed, “Jim Henson, Kermit the Frog.”
