One of my favourite breeds: Noriker. The name comes from the ancient Roman province of Noricum (around what's Austria today) where it was originally bred. They are a medium-heavy draft breed with stunning personality. This beautiful blue roan variant with the always dark/black head is called 'Mohrenkopf'. | This horse color looks so close to a grulla that I'm having a hard time deciding if it's a grey or grulla.

This is Reckless Dan, an unusual grey brindle Quarter Horse. Most brindle horses have dark stripes on a lighter body color, but a rare few have white stripes on a dark body color. While it is possible that white brindles are chimeric (and certainly some may be), the current thought is that the color is probably the result of a one-time mutation, probably of rabicano.

Love the color, I normally am not a fan of roans... and I love the build. Look at that little butt!

    Stunning blue roan!!!

The spotted horse returned in 1812, not as the "Tiger Horses," but with a new bloodline. A mare was purchased of Spanish origin with unusual markings. Her colt was the foundational Sire for the new spotted breed...Seeing spots has never felt so good!

    Gorgeous blue roan!

ARDENNAIS Thought to descend from the prehistoric Solutré horse, the Ardennais is one of the most ancient horse breeds in Europe. The use of this breed dates back to Ancient Rome. First bred for the purposes of war, then agriculture, the Ardennais was considered one of the best breeds of draft horse.

Blue roan draft. Now THAT is a horse!!!

Horse 3.... Take a picture of your horse ... Print it out on your computer / printer .... Glue with cheap glue to thin cereal box type card board ... Let dry, cut out , put in middle of paper ( water color paper is good ) you can spray around it with watered down craft paint in spray bottles or you can put the cardboard you cut the horse from and use that as a stencil ... Try a few times on news paper to perfect ... Might even work for on a door or wall

#3. The Knabstrupper - Knabstrupper horses were bred in Denmark as far back as 1671 when they were called "The Tiger Horses." In 1750, this royal breeding line came to an end.

Gorgeous Appaloosa with Lightning Strikes (white spots or streaks on the legs - which are typical of that breed)
