This blog has great ideas for learning expectations and rules at the beginning of the year-she starts the year with empty shelves, then adds them as the students learn how to use them correctly. I have done this and it really helps
Love this idea! Beginning of each semester I write each lesson & test on a post-it. If you need more time or are absent, just move notes around. You can even use the same post-its from year to year. After a lesson I try to jot some notes about what worked and what needs work. This helps the next yea as ot serves as an informal journal!
use this book as a jumping off point for end of the year thank you letters, each child chooses one person in the school that has impacted them during the year and writes them a "here's to you" thank you letter
