A $9.50 thrifted chest is transformed into a pretty place to store toys in the living room. For those dressers you see with missing or broken drawers. BUMMED I JUST GOT RID OF NOLANS OLD DRESSER!! :(

A thrift store chest, or one with missing or broken drawers, is transformed into a pretty place to store toys in the living room. I have been obsessed with this idea for a long time, but don't happen to have broken dressers lying about and I don't know what thrift stores people are finding these at because my efforts have been fruitless. So, if anyone knows of a good "dresser junk yard", please give me the 411!

I love this! With the two tone colors and the fold out top - I am now on the hunt for this dresser.

Dresser Turned Bench- might take this idea and throw my own spin on it. make it lower to the ground. and ea. kid a window seat in their br. use the drawer to put blankets or as storage... a throw pillow to match the seat and maybe a little bookshelf on the side to hold a few of their favourite stories.

***THIS WOULD BE AWESOME TO PAINT IN BLUE / NAVY & WHITE ON A PIECE OF FURNITURE***

I might even be able to do this: old dresser w/top drawers removed. Add rod, cute paper & you have a costume wardrobe for your kiddos!

Turn a dresser into a book shelf. So cute. Shelves would actually be big enough to store scrapbooks!! Great for craft room.

Love this idea, just use a marker! Or better yet, make it dry erase and then you can change it whenever you want.
