What kid wouldn't love a "book nook" in their bedroom?! Instead of shelving, use plastic rain gutters from Home Depot

Wonder how sturdy rain gutter shelves would be. Crates and wire baskets below for bigger books.

Wayne's next project!!! Vinyl gutters used to create children's bookshelves and a reading corner without introducing elements of danger... The gutters are secure enough to hold books, but would bend under the weight of a child trying to climb -- the shelves! Also the ends are capped so there aren't any sharp edge

Rain Gutter Shelves... now that's something I wouldn't have thought of. {Ishouldbemoppingthefloor.com}

fun idea! (edited the link to actually go to the original blog post that this image is from; also here is a direct link to a close up photograph of how these awesome book/magazine holders are made: s3.amazonaws.com/... )

Rain gutter book shelves - don't really like the metal, but maybe with wood/moulding pieces? That could be cool here and there in little flat wall spaces... outhouse bathroom wall?

I just love this way of storing books. If your child can see all their books, they're more likely to want to read them! I need to figure out a way to make this work in my house!

great bookshelves for the kids' bedrooms and homeschool room!

Book shelves made out of vinyl rain gutters. Brilliant to help me make my wall of childrens books - see the other pin.
