Wonder how sturdy rain gutter shelves would be. Crates and wire baskets below for bigger books.

great bookshelves for the kids' bedrooms and homeschool room!

diy bookshelves ... this would be a great way of storing the library books so they are separate from the rest of the books!

Wayne's next project!!! Vinyl gutters used to create children's bookshelves and a reading corner without introducing elements of danger... The gutters are secure enough to hold books, but would bend under the weight of a child trying to climb -- the shelves! Also the ends are capped so there aren't any sharp edge

This will be going in the playroom immediately...well as soon as I finish the other 4 projects I've started

Maybe one day I will have a playroom for the kids and this will definitely be going on the wall... love it!

I love the idea of the chalk board wall with rolling paper. Maybe use chalkboard paint in old frames (painted in fun colors) and put in hallway. It wouldn't take up space and would give the kids another space to use.

This is a basement renovation... and while it's not something I would do- I just think it's a WONDERFUL FUN space with neat-o ideas! :)

I like this for my books Daily update on my website: ediy3.com

Rain gutter book shelves - don't really like the metal, but maybe with wood/moulding pieces? That could be cool here and there in little flat wall spaces... outhouse bathroom wall?
