This pendant is part of the Cheapside Hoard. Date 1560 AD - 1640 AD. these items are thought to have belonged to a jeweller or pawnbroker in London's Cheapside about 1624-5, who either fled from the plague or was killed in London after the hoard was hidden. It may be seen at the Museum of London, UK and the whole place is wonderful.
