      Homemade Bleach -- Ingredients: 1 cup hydrogen perioxide 2 Tablespoons lemon juice 15 cups of water Mix together and store in a large jug. I pour mine into a smaller bottles for convenience. Since the peroxide will oxidize and eventually loose strength it's best to use the homemade bleach within a month. This bleach is great for cleaning bathrooms.

    How to get your dirty whites clean again... HOT HOT HOT water, 1 cap of laundry detergent, 1 cup powdered dish washer detergent, 1 cup bleach, 1/2 cup borax. Tell you what, you have to rewash it once to put softener in but it's the whitest you'll ever see your whites.     Remove urine stains (from potty training or pets) from a mattress, upholstered furniture, carpet, etc. Pour 8 oz. hydrogen peroxide into a measuring cup, add 3T baking soda and stir till dissolved. Pour into a spray bottle, add a drop or two of dishwashing soap (Dawn, Palmolive, etc). Shake it up then spray it on the stained area. When it dries, the stain should be gone. (Test in an inconspicuous place first to be sure the solution doesnt remove the color from the fabric.)
