House smelling weird? Put two caps full of vanilla extract in a coffee cup, then place it in the oven at 300 degrees for one hour. Within twenty minutes the whole house smells like Heaven. It's actually a common Realtor trick.
Pour 1/2 cup baking soda down your drain and then 1/2 cup of vinegar. Cover up the drain during the crazy chemical reaction. Wait 15 mins and pour a pot of boiling water down the drain. It clears the clogged pipes of hair and other funk, plus it's easier on the pipes than Drano.
This works great! Much better than the gelled version of DIY air freshner and easier to make. Everytime I walk in the room it smells fresh has a nice scent to it. Will be doing in my whole house soon. -diy air freshener
This long-forgotten gem of a cleaning agent may be used with a little water or vinegar to lift even the most stubborn stains. Unattractive grout driving you batty? Mold and mildew stains got you reaching for the Prozac? Burner pans and casserole dishes giving you fits? Cream of Tartar is your new best friend. http://media-cache2.pinterest.com/upload/134334001355224856_dzLR0naR_f.jpg hhott gotta try this
No sinus infections in the house for years. When we get stuffed up we get relief in under a minute, and it doesn't settle or move into the chest. Inhale it from the bottle, or put a few drops on a tissue or cotton swab to carry around/ sleep with. When it is all of us I put 20 drops or so with a cup or 2 of water and simmer on the stove for a few hours. That also prevents colds from spreading (antibacterial and antiviral). One person I know puts it in her vacuum when she vacuums.
