My dream laundry room!!!! There would never be a dirty piece of clothing in the house if I had this. (well at least for a month anyway ;-)

To make the laundry room virtually disappear, consider custom-built cabinetry that encloses the appliances. Bifold doors open to reveal the washer and dryer, while a countertop the depth of the appliances provides a spacious folding station. A narrow, deep laundry sink sandwiched beside the wall is outfitted with a pot-filler faucet.

Polish up the laundry room to create an attractive, functional room on the main level, upper level, or basement. Replace old appliances with new units offering the latest energy-and fabric-saving features. Add counter space for folding clean clothes, tuck-away bins for sorting dirty laundry, & cabinets or shelving to keep detergents stowed. And don't forget a built-in ironing board.

Build Your Own Laundry Station- Like the walls and the basket shelves hear. Would put the counter top over my lr sink with wall hinge so it will raise up when I need the sink.

A stacked, energy-efficient washer and dryer saves on space. Tour the rest of this mudroom:

LOVE this idea, minimal space, still a place for everything My big concern Id have is if the w/d had enough "breathing space" there needs to be space on either side for air to travel thru. Secondly if it needed worked on could I reach it? I like the idea but may need to adjust.

I dream of a pretty, organized laundry room. I love that the washer/dryer can be hidden away. Genius.

laundry room - Cute! I was thinking about ripping down the ugly cabinets but maybe taking off the front is the answer...
