Japanese sweet rice dumplings

Over the holidays HN made some odango - glutinous rice balls/dumplings made from rice flour. It's a classic Japanese dessert that I just love to pieces. This one here has soy sauce based syrop drizzled all over it.

定番は、やはりそのまま、お餅をいれたもの。鏡開きのタイミングでお餅つかって、いただきたいですね。お塩をひとつまみいれると、甘さが引き立ちます。
