pool noodle and balloon game. Try to get the balloon into the laundry basket using only a pool noodle.

Great outdoor game: Take pool noodles and cut them in half. Blow up some balloons. Have 2 empty laundry baskets. Give each child a noodle half and have them try to bat the balloons into the laundry baskets. They can work in pairs and use their balloons like chopsticks to pick up the balloons.

Fun game idea from Parents - cut pool noodles into two. Break the kids into 2 (or 3 or 4) teams and give them each one (half) pool noodle. Toss a few dozen balloons out on the lawn and tell them they have to get as many balloons into their laundry basket in a set amount of time. At first they will try just hitting them - they will eventually begin working together with a friend to pick the balloons up chopstick style...

Shown as game for kids but could be just as fun with adults too!... Give players five minutes to move as many balloons as possible into a laundry basket without touching the balloons with any body part. The catch? The only tool they can use is a pool noodle, (cut noodles in half). At first, players may try batting the balloons into the basket, but they'll soon realize that they must pair up and use two pool noodles like giant chopsticks to lift the balloons into place.
