This potentially life-changing mac & cheese is worth the 15 minutes by the stove. You won't believe how rich and creamy it is with NO butter, NO cream, and NO Velveeta in the recipe. (Boil noodles in milk!)
Spicy Parmesan Shrimp Skillet. The only thing I changed with this one was I added a lot more red pepper and I used shells instead of penne pasta, because that's what I had. But with the shells, it was like there was too much pasta and not enough marinade. So next time, I think I'll make some more of the marinade. And use penne. Lol. Still an awesome meal, though. :)
CREAMY FETTUCCINE WITH PEAS & BASIL SATISFY A HANKERING FOR HIGH-FAT ALFREDO SAUCE WITH THIS LIGHT, NO-DAIRY VERSION. OAT MILK AND CASHEW BUTTER STAND IN FOR HEAVY CREAM, KEEPING CALORIES AND SATURATED FAT LOW. SEE THE RECIPE. HERB HELPER: TO KEEP LEAFY BASIL FRESH, PLACE STEMS DOWN IN WATER (LIKE FLOWERS IN A VASE), COVER WITH A PLASTIC BAG, AND REFRIGERATE.
Creamy Garlic Pasta - one of my new favorite recipes. It was absolutely delicious. Easy to make and everyone LOVED it. I actually make it and then baked it in bread (see my other pin). We have people in the family who like red sauce, white sauce, butter. This was a simple recipe everyone loved and then could add red sauce to dip the bread and pasta in.
Martha Stewart's One-Pot Pasta - Boil Penne pasta for 6 minutes less than al dente; add broccoli florets, and cook until Penne is al dente. Drain; return to the pot, and toss with a couple of crushed garlic cloves, some olive oil, the zest and juice of a lemon, salt and pepper, and plenty of parmesan cheese.
