People should be able to love and commit to anyone of their choice. I like how this mother quoted that, "Love is still love." It took America years to accept and legalize interracial couples, I feel that, yes, it will take more time, but eventually, and hopefully, America will be willingly accepting gay marriage.

It may be a choice for some but not all. My friend is a kindergarten teacher and she can tell which kids will grow up to be gay probably before they even know what gay is. Why would young kids take their life's because they are tortured from being picked on because they are gay. Let people be who they want to be and love who they want to love!!

@ everyone who is protesting LGBT rights to marry, how about we try this scenario: the government or religious institution says you cannot marry the love of your life because they have blue eyes/ brown hair/ a mole on their cheek/ etc etc etc. Do you know how ludicrious that would be? Yeah, that's how i feel about homosexuals being denied the opportunity to be with the one person who makes them happy and their lives complete. It is not a choice to be gay, it's who they are but we can't forget that they are also HUMAN with certain unalienable rights.

I'm not against gay marriage however I do think it's unnatural and not how things were intended to be but everyone has their own opinion I guess

In my opinion the argument of whether being homosexual or not is a choice is irrelevant. The sad truth is that this longstanding issue should not be an issue at all because our constitution specifies that laws and government decisions should be independent of religion. Most peoples argument against gay marriage is "it is againt MY bible therefor you cannot do it in My country," which is completely ridiculous as a legal argument.

One of the dangers of drinking too much alcohol is that you may say things that can really hurt people.

but this doesn't necessarily mean adding even more government programs for the poor. give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

In 2010 Licia Ronzulli, Italian MEP took her baby Vittoria to a vote in the European Parliament, keeping her carefully cradled in a sling and occasionally kissing her forehead. She was taking advantage of relatively relaxed rules that allow women to take their babies to work. Ronzulli brought Vittoria not as a political gesture but as a maternal one because she was still breastfeeding. She recognized that most women do not have this opportunity and that “we should do something…about this."
