Saturn

Saturn was always my favorite planet. That has never changed. I guess it was the rainbow of colors, and the mysterious rings.

Saturn photo taken by Cassini Space Probe

NASA/JPL-Caltech/Space Science Institute ~ NASA released this rare view of Saturn taken from the Cassini spacecraft. the image was taken while Cassini was in the planet's shadow, so Saturn and its rings were backlit by the sun.

Nebulosa Jones-Emberson 1 (PK 164 +31.1).

Planetary nebula PK 164 is located about light years from Earth towards the constellation Lynx. At the heart of PK 164 is the blue-hot white dwarf star at image center.
