MARCEL PROUST------ A la recherche du temps perdu !

How Proust Can Change Your Life -Alain De Botton. This book itself did change my life...

This is such a wonderfully amusing book. I haven't read Proust but they way it is written really draws the reader in and you feel like you are really getting to know Proust and the "narrator" I highly recommend it. very light, is like Proust.

Thanks, Kitty go, yes, I've read it and enjoyed it as well! And yes, same here, I haven't tackled Proust yet. At least, from what I was able to find out, the consensus is that Lydia Davis’ translation into English is the way to go. I look fwd to starting with Swann’s Way.

There is no reason we can't all live a Privileged Life - we just have to make it happen (easier said than done, but hey worth a try - I too love the Pink Dress )

  • Susanna Salk

I'm so glad you are! :)
