Lantana is so easy to grow. It attracts butterflies, loves sun and can tolerate drought. Good watering results in a showy and large plant. Freezes to the ground in winter but returns year after year.

Purple iris beautiful. Thoughts of you my friend; Teresa.

The Echinacea 'Summer Sun' is a brand new hybrid coneflower that blow you away with it's intense color. The blooms first open up to a red-orange then slowly lighten to a golden orange. Plants are tall enough to mix into the perennial border growing a little over e 3 feet in height but stay within their bounds very well with clumps growing to about 2 feet wide. The brightly colored, fragrant blooms are a butterfly magnet.

Brunnera "Jack Frost" - brightens up the shady areas with almost neon bright blue flowers and amazing white foliage. I only have one of these, but plan on many more. A top perrenial for me!

Wet newspapers and put layers around the plants overlapping as you go; cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic; they will not get through wet newspaper. Good composting!

Colorblaze Keystone Kopper Coleus thrives in sun or shade, is a snap to grow, and produces quantities of beautiful copper-color foliage. It makes a bold statement planted by itself in a container or garden bed or mixed with other annuals. And it can even be brought indoors in the fall as a spirit-lifting houseplant.
