Plants are tall enough to mix into the perennial border growing a little over e 3 feet in height but stay within their bounds very well with clumps growing to about 2 feet wide. The brightly colored, fragrant blooms are a butterfly magnet.
Wet newspapers and put layers around the plants overlapping as you go; cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic; they will not get through wet newspaper. Good composting!
