“My Place in the World” Project This is an easy project that kids can make to help them learn how they and their community fit into the wider world. This is one of the hardest concepts for kids to grasp, even when I taught junior high! You have no idea how many kids think Mexico is a state!

Is your class researching weather and storms? They will love this research project on Wicked Weather! I’ve taught weather as a Science unit with my third graders for many years, and have always culminated it with a research report on wicked weather topics. I’m thrilled to offer my resources in a new lap book format. Keep in mind, these resources work well in an interactive notebook too.
