1 Green bell pepper
1 Onion
1 Red bell pepper
5 lbs Red potatoes

Baking & Spices

1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
1 Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
1 tsp Seasoned salt

Oils & Vinegars

1/4 cup Olive oil

Skillet Cornbread from This is a simple-but-good buttermilk cornbread recipe. I doubled the recipe so it could fill my cast iron skillet, and it turned out as the perfect accoutrement to my turkey chili. I would describe it as a cornier cornbread, but not a sweet one (there's no sugar). You brown it on the stove for a crust, then cook it in the oven. Yummy.

Scalloped Potatoes and Ham Recipe : Ree Drummond : Food Network - made some changes so it is more a meal on its own, as well as reminiscent of my mother's, without the canned soup. More ham and added dil to the sauce. Will try mushrooms and maybe fresh peas next time to get it even closer
