Defending Jacob was actually hard for me to get into. A book about a father, DA, who is working the murder of a 14 year old boy when his own son becomes the prime suspect. Although it began slow and had a dull climax the ending I honestly did not see coming, which in turn, made the book worth reading. I'm a sucker for an unsuspected ending.
