I like these denim stars. This link takes to etsy, so no instructions on making. The pinner from which I pinned mentioned fusible webbing. I will have to play around with this idea. These would be fun ornaments for boys or western-themed tree, or gift tie-ons--lots of possibilities.

Sewn Paper Garland - Punch out a stack of stars from different patterned papers. Randomly arrange and rearrange stars on a large table. Run each star through the sewing machine. Grab a few at a time, so you aren't constantly stopping and starting your machine. Also sew towards a point, not from one, in case the point would get caught or bend. It takes less than 10 minutes.
These potholders are made from recycled jeans and a wool mantle. I have cut a mantle to round pieces and every potholder have one circle of woolfabric inside. The idea for potholders came from back pocket of jeans. This is actually same time potholder and potmitten. Just put your hand to the pocket and then - let's have fun in the kitchen!
These are "recycled jeans", but I bet I could make an AWESOME hanging toiletry bag like this. I want one that has more pockets and doesn't dump my stuff on the floor...
