New Order: Movement, 1981. Cover design by Peter Saville.

  • Robert Denning

Another album cover designed courtesy of Peter Saville. This now a classic example of Savilles artistic direction and graphic creativity of the time. He has gone on to design England's football teams Home & Away kit and is one of the only many credible Graphic Designer i know by name. Savilles use of basic lines and circles are something that we later use of in covers of his like for Blue Monday. Which featured specially cut shapes within the sleeve, the most expensive 12 inch cover to date.
