DIY Kindle Fire Case - This was a very easy DIY project. I made one for my girlfriend's Fire that turned out beautifully where I also covered the outside of the book with fabric too. In turn she made one for me too with the addition of a velcro strap for keeping it closed. Works great!

You don't really see the book's cover because it is covered with fabric so it looks just as nice on the outside as the inside.

A good way to do such crafts is to go to goodwill and ask for books they are going to throw away. :) it will give the book a new life and keep it out of a landfill

Kindle, Nook, or iPad cover from a hardcover book. I think I'd still prefer to sew it, but the skeleton of the pattern would still work. Neat idea!
