Love this idea...and I see old tarnished silver stuff all the time at the thrift shops, Good Will, etc. Same with cloches. This would be real simple to put together.

christmas. So pretty and simple, except the part where my boy lift up the jar and all the ornaments go rolling everywhere. : /

You do know you can buy these clear glass containers at Home Goods, Marshalls, TJ Max, etc for cheap. And you already have the bulbs! PS I go around the neighbor & collect pine cones, and I live in San Diego!

Found tiny dome and this very same mini silver tray at same thrift store. Yay! So cute! great buttons

ornaments and pearls under cut glass cloche. I'm also seeing a beautiful Nativity under there as well

Lovely DIY. Old silver tray, tarnished candlestick, a mineral or shell specimen and a glass dome. I could make this with thrift store finds!

    Cloche with ornaments ❤

cute decorated treeI used to have a small table christmas tree in every room. When my son was young He would get a hallmark truck that they a new one ever year. One about tea. Tea strainers minature tea cups, spoons and anything else related with tea. One in the dining room with red and white. In the bathroom I had a very small hand made with lights.

could work with any color palette of ornaments...super vintagey, I love as a centerpiece or on a side board or something

although this would be wonderful for Christmas, I like this idea for fall. A great transition from Halloween to Thanksgiving.
