    I'm stoked - a new Peter Weir film! I'm sure he'll do an amazing job, as usual.

All of the stories in Ted Chiang's collection Stories of Your Life and Others are gems. I'm still amazed he managed to write "Tower of Babylon" _before_ he went to Clarion!

NO FREAKING WORDS to describe the pure awesomeness !! (done & collected, started saving for the absolute edition)

Great book, read it many times as a child....

When you feel as though you know every character personally, that's genius writing...

Water for Elephants by Sara Grun, a lovely summer read. I loved this's also a fantastic audiobook
