home made ranch dressing so much better than bottled! 3/4 cup mayonnaise (I use light mayo) 3/4 cup sour cream (I use light sour cream) 1 Tbsp olive oil 1 Tbsp lemon juice 1/4 to 1 cup buttermilk 1 small bunch of chives or 2 scallions, roughly chopped Small handful of parsley 1 clove garlic 1/2 tsp sea salt 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Homemade Taco Seasoning 4 tbsp. chili powder 3 tbsp. 1 tsp. paprika 3 tbsp. ground cumin 1 tbsp. 2 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. garlic powder ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and mix well to blend. Store in an airtight container until ready to use.
I don't use any corriander and sometimes cut back a little on the chili powder and cumin if I don't want it quite as hot. I will never EVER go back to store bought taco seasoning!! I made a ton of this last year and gave it away as Christmas gifts.
