What a great tradition to start.... Have family put money in mason jar throughout year. At Christmas time, choose someone to bless (anonymously). This brings joy to the receiver and the giver! Must read the book "The Christmas Jar" it explains how it all started.

It's a Christmas Eve box (they get to open it on Christmas Eve)! They get new pj's (to wear that night), a Christmas movie, hot chocolate, snacks for the movie, etc!!! This would be an awesome new tradition!! <3 <3 <3

Start the first Christmas as a married couple and add a bell each year. Red bells for the year you had a baby.

Christmas themed candies in various jars, such an easy idea. (Not like my kids won't be excited without all the sugary goodness...that's a tantrum waiting to happen).

Graduation gift!!! Rolled up dollar bills/candy in a mason jar. Topped with a graduation cap and ribbon :)

Ornament Time Capsule - write down meaningful memories from the year & slip into a clear glass ornament that you've put the year onto. Great idea for making ornaments to pass on to your children when they're grown.

ONLY THE BEST PARENTS EVER WOULD DO THIS!!!! New Tradition?? When the kids climb into bed, they will find a ticket hidden. The kids are instructed to grab their slippers and head for the car. Upon entrance to The Minivan Express, you hole punch the ticket, and travel around the city looking at all the beautiful lights.
