I could use this instead of that funny graphic organizer that makes them turn the paper around all the time. I hate anything with a set number of spaces. They think every story has the same number of events in rising action etc.!

This website is fantastic! It has many different concept ideas including grouping animals by what they eat, habitat games, live eagle nest cam, games, activity and coloring pages, and some animal fact guides. There is a game where the students can design their own habitat as well. This will be a very beneficial website for each concept I will teach each day.

Songs are a great way to introduce vocabulary to students and get them engaged in a lesson. This particular site has a variety of examples of how to use songs with habitat lessons.
