Awhile back I had never eaten at a Chuy's Mexican food restaurant, but had heard the jalapeno ranch dip there was very good. Then I tried a friend's homemade version and loved it! When our new Chuy's opened here in town, I couldn't wait to go and try the jalapeno dip. Guess what?? I thought my friend's was better! :-) This is her recipe. I've made it twice now, and to scale it down a bit to serve just our family, I used 1 packet of ranch, 1/4 cup jalapenos and 1/4 of the other listed ingredients.

Chuy's Jalapeno Dip - sort of, I think it is better. The only things I did differently to this recipe are that I used Lite Sour Cream, I seeded the jalapenos and used 3 instead of 2, I used lemon juice instead of lime (that's what I had), and instead of milk, I used 1/2 jar of tomatillo green chili salsa. It may thicken as it sits in the refrigerator, then I would add some milk or water to thin. It tastes FABULOUS! - Laura :-)

Repinning: CHUY'S Creamy Jalapeno Dip - 16 oz [light] sour cream 1 packet Ranch dip mix 2-3 large jalapenos, finely chopped (about 1/2 cup) 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced (I used 2 but next time would probably do 3, I really like garlic. Just taste as you go.) 1/3 cup chopped, fresh cilantro Juice of a lime Milk, optional. Made it and it's as close as I'll get to the real thing!

jalapeño dip Ingredients 16 ounces, weight Light Sour Cream 1 package (1 Oz.) Ranch Dip Mix 2 whole Large Jalapenos, Finely Diced 2 cloves Garlic, Finely Minced ⅓ cups Chopped Fresh Cilantro 1 whole Lime, Juiced Milk (optional) Mix all ingredients. Thin with milk if necessary.

Creamy Jalapeno Ranch Dip- ◦Philadelphia Cooking Creme (10oz) Cream Cheese (8oz) Sour Cream (16oz) ◦2 Packets of Ranch Dip Mix ◦Can of Diced Jalapenos ◦Put cooking creme, softened cream cheese and sour cream in Food Processor and blend well Add packets of Ranch Dip Mix. Blend well Add iced jalapenos (or less if you prefer mild heat). Blend well. Blend well & Chill for at least one hour.

Jalepeno Ranch Dressing so if you like Chuy's dip like that...this is how to make it. So good.
