HE NEXT GENERATION: Native American communities like the Swinomish are applying their long term view of planning for seven generations - several hundred years into the future - when dealing with climate change. They realize that the adaptations they make today will be for the benefit of their great grandchildren.
FIRST FOODS: Native Americans have depended on a wide range of plants and animals for countless generations. These "first foods" have cultural and spiritual significance in addition to their nutritional importance. Changes in the climate and weather are increasing threats to the cultivation or gathering of these first foods.
The Red Nation shall rise again and it shall be a blessing for a sick world. A world filled with broken promises, selfishness and separations. A world longing for Light again. I see a time of Seven Generations when all the colors of mankind will gather under the Sacred Tree of Life and the whole Earth will become one circle again.
