Great LDS quote by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland

when you love what you have...

wherever we are together

A better me b/c of my husband.

This family is forever quote.

Wonderful reminder

brush aside offending remarks

Two things.

“As you create a home, don't get distracted with a lot of things that have no meaning for you or your family. Don't dwell on your failures, but think of your successes. Have joy in your home. Have joy in your children. Have joy in your husband. Be grateful for the journey.” ― Marjorie Pay Hinckley

It's #thinkythought day! I will be getting a little personal here, so if you're not interested, feel free to keep on scrolling. Though, especially by comparison to many of our dear friends, my life has been very, very stable, there are plenty of experiences many do not know about (that I won't list in detail) that had, for the longest time, tread on my self-worth. Bullied in middle school, sexually assaulted, engaged to a bad person who wanted to do bad things, struggles with depression and all added up to what I believed was my value, my worth. I had a huge wake-up call. Can I be honest here? Let's all take a good, long, and hard look at how beautiful each of us are. Let's readjust our perspective on ourselves. Realize that Jehovah, more than anyone else, holds you in high regard as his special creation, someone Jesus himself said he was fond of, enough to give his life for. Don't waste your years thinking you aren't of value. You'll need them to spend time doing awesome things, having amazing adventures, and creating strong relationships. Don't waste your tears mulling over your value in a negative way. You'll need them for the important things in life, both devastating and joyous, to keep to yourself or share with others. Don't waste your breath telling yourself, "I'm not worth it" or, "Why not me?" or, "Why me?" You'll need it for when all you need to do is to take a deep breath to be calm. Realize, friends, your value does not decrease based on someone's inability to see your worth, to treat you well, to notice you, or to love you properly. Remember that there are only two people in this universe who decide your value- you, and ultimately, Jehovah. So choose wisely. Choose, and don't ever forget the only right decision is to know you have so much value. #thinkythoughts #thoughtoftheday #goodevening

Life doesnt have to be perfect.
