Blueberry and Oatmeal Muffins: "This family favorite gets a twist with the addition of whole-wheat flour and oatmeal. Tossing frozen blueberries with flour before adding them to the batter keeps them from turning the batter purple while they bake. If you use fresh blueberries, skip that step."

I started with Recipe # 8845 from Kathy-Lynn and tweaked it so much it turned into something else. Recipe includes a brown sugar And nut topping. I used almonds and walnuts, but any kind of nut would be good with this.
Healthy Pumpkin Banana Muffins. Photo by buttercreambarbie. Changed out oat bran to flax seed. Didn't have whole wheat, used all purpose flour. Worked fine. Used dark chocolate chips instead of walnuts. Added one extra banana bc short on applesauce. Added a bit more spices. Add chia seeds next time. Yum!
