Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer - One of my favorite book series.

  • Kate Ames Schartel Novak

Was going to put The Twilight Saga under "Books Worth Reading" but it's more of an obsession and not everyone's cup of tea. So here it is allocated, primarily due to my secret (until now) longing for a vampire boyfriend/husband just like Edward.

In this book, the author strings you along. She doles out just enough information to make you think you've figured things out before she hits you with another revelation that changes everything. The way the story ends shows what a truly sick relationship Nick and Amy had. The path is twisted, disturbing, and irresistible.

One of my favorite childhood movies! About a grown-up Peter Pan. A must watch! "When Captain Hook kidnaps his children, an adult Peter Pan must return to Neverland and reclaim his youthful spirit in order to challenge his old enemy."

I can't believe how much I enjoyed these crazy books. I went through them like a hot knife through butter.

A list of 8 Girly books to read - #6 should be #1, & while #7 is good if someone has recently passed in your life I do not recommend reading it.

so heart wrenching..i can't even watch the movie. the book was very good..

♥ I'll never let go, Jack. I promise. ♥

Unlike everyone I know who have read the saga, I actually LOVED this book. One of my faves after Breaking Dawn

The Book Thief is the story of Liesel Meminger. Liesel is almost ten when she ends up in Molching with Hans and Rosa Hubermann, her new foster parents. It is 1939. In Nazi Germany. Through their eyes we see Hitler and Nazi Germany; we experience the atrocities and the small kindnesses. Zusak’s story is mostly about everyday things: hunger, pettiness, laughter, hope, cruelty and kindness. Loved it.

Most of the people saying they hate them now, were some of the staunchest fans when they first came out...personally, I still love them.

The Help: recommended by several people. Stories of the black maids working for white women in the state of Mississippi of the 60s.

This whole series is amazing. If you haven't read it yet, you should do so, and then, watch the series on HBO.
