Decorate and educate with this display of the marks commonly used by young writers as they complete the editing step of the writing process. It's over 5 1/2 feet tall. The teacher's guide contains a variety of creative extension activities.
Persuasive OREO Writing: Great idea for middle school! The students could even be given Oreos as a treat. It's a way easier way to explain persuasive papers to a younger crowd. I also feel that it could maybe only be a prop because any paper writing require more attention and more description than that.
Word boxes: If a student doesn't know how to spell a word, they check the card in the box. If it's not there, they bring the card to me, we spell it together, and then the card goes back in its spot when they're done. Promotes independent writers!
