This World We Live In (Life As We Knew It Series) by Susan Beth Pfeffer The third book in the Life as We Knew it series unites the protagonists from books one and two, and serves to move the series forward. Not as compelling as books 1 and 2, I was carried more by my commitment to the characters and desire to hear more of their story than the actual plot.

Gold by Chris Cleave - Cleave's latest follows two women who are not only friends but rivals, as they've trained as cyclists together since they were 19. Now 32, one woman balances her desire to win the gold at the 2012 Olympics in London with her daughter's battle against cancer as her friend and training partner weighs how important the gold medal is over their friendship. ~ 3 stars, loved the little girl's battle but too much melodrama and way too contrived

Holy hell, this book is amazing. Couldn't put it down. Reminds me of Nick Hornby and One Day. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes.

Reconstructing Amelia: A Novel was so good kept you guessing

Here I Go Again. Jen Lancaster. Delightful story. Didn't get some of the references to 90's rock music(or was it '80s hair metal....Hmmm...I know of heavy metal, but hair metal?...more to google) but I got the gist of it. A clever, insightful and funny read.

when did i get like this? oh i can't wait to get my hands on this read. my kind of book!

Where'd You Go, Bernadette Great book. I read it in one sitting. It's all about crazy and moms and daughters.

I read most of these in the past year. But a good book list is always exciting!
