Carmel Cottage - I love this whole house. Look at the coat rack, look at the little door on the right.

Love the layout to open family room. Where the microwave is would be back wall of house. Eat in space other side of island

Great use of earthy tones, sturdy furniture and accent pieces softened by happy forsythia branches & roses. For my decor I would replace the seashells with deep red apples, or orange pumpkin n ghourds for fall... If you want to buy me a little abode in Nantucket, I'll stick to the shells! Beautiful arrangement.

Love dark hardwood floors with the columns, beautiful ceiling, and tons of natural light!

This with a frame and some cushions on the bench. Maybe some beadboard?: bench, hooks + shelving in a small foyer; love the use of paint instead of clogging the space with a large piece of furniture

Agh windows... also the dark maple with the forcinthia yellow it TDF

As a real sucker for overgrown, lush gardens, I'd fall in love with this one - interior unseen, and completely disregarded.

Foyer storage. You don't have this much space but we could fit something similar to the middle section with a storage drawer underneath

Are You Hooked? LOL.....I took the quizz on Hooked on Houses site and I answered YES to every question. Guess there is NO Question that I am " Hooked on Houses " ~ ♥ ~

No lie, I can so live in a locale like this! Perhaps it's the librarian in me or the old soul I have. I love this cottage!
