    Autism shirt

Autism... I want this shirt! Seriously people, get educated before you judge. A parent should never have to feel like they need to justify their child having a breakdown in a store by saying he's/she's autistic because people are giving them ugly stares or making comments! Autism is what they have, not who they are. Each person with autism is different and beautiful and perfect just the way they are. There is nothing wrong with them, the problem is your ignorance.

EXACTLY why we individualize our behavior analytic treatments. never assume anything - it's a spectrum disorder for a reason!

Great graphic. Hope lots of people repin this one... need to spread the word! autism

I'm lucky to know a couple of amazing mommas of littles on the spectrum. God knew what he was doing when they were matched.

Just bc they can talk to you doesn't mean they can't understand every thing you are saying right in front of them. Please don't be cruel. Feelings can b hurt even though they can't communicate it to you. Aggression is a communicator that some thing is wrong!!!!!!

Completely true...remarkable morals; impeccable integrity! This is my son!

Absolutely. Not being able to speak is not the same as not being able to understand what people say, either. People who study language disabilities distinguish "expressive language" (your ability to use language to express yourself) and "receptive" language (your ability to understand what other people say).

The ongoing looks of total strangers that don't understand but are very judgmental. Remember not to judge something without full knowledge of what you're judging.
