This give a ton of great programs to help with phonemic awareness that your students might need. It also gives the use of each program.

There are a few wonderful things about this activity.  First of all, it teaches left-to-right orientation, which is an important pre-reading skill.  Secondly, it is great for teaching phonemic awareness and encouraging the child to blend the word together at the end

This “Beginning Sounds Phonemic Awareness Mats” pack includes 12 large mats with beautiful clipart from wonderful artists. Each mat has 3 matching cards that begin with the same sound. There are 2 sets of matching sound cards. One set only has only the picture and the other set has the picture and includes the word in tiny, very tiny text on the bottom right hand corner.
