Easy Garden Fresh Pico de gallo
Let me introduce you to the easiest salsa you've ever meet. It literally comes together in under 5 minutes. Not only is it easy peasy to prepare but it's down right delicious. Unlike pico de gallo, it's more like a salsa you'd get in a Mexican restaurant served with chips before you get dinner. This is perfect for the winter months when tomatoes aren't in season but you're craving a fresh simple appetizer. It's a go to recipe of mine when we have a houseful of guests. I can throw it togeth
Pico De Freakin Licious Thank you, Mexico. Thank you lazy days on the couch. Thank you gluttony. My favorite snack food of all time, Pico de Gallo, is todays recipe. You cant go wrong here. I mean, its healthy so your girlfriend cant get on your case about over eating, and it tastes like the tears of a thousand Victorias Secret Runway models. Seriously, do it. What You Need:5-6 Roma tomatoes, chopped1 Small onion, chopped1/2 Cup fresh cilantro, chopped2 Serrano or Jalapeño chiles, seeded and minced1 Clove garlic, minced2 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lime juiceSalt and peper to taste. How You Make ItDo I really need to tell you? Put everything in a bowl. Thats pretty much it. Id suggest you let it sit for at least an hour, but preferably over night. The longer the better, as the flavors get a chance to permeate over time. Sowhy are you still here? Im not. Im already eating my salsa.
