Bonaventure Cemetery. Savannah...would love to see this. It is the setting for the book and movie, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, a dark, southern gothic novel that is dripping with character and rich settings, not to mention a compelling plot.
Jules Verne (1828 –1905) was a French author who pioneered the science fiction genre. He is best known for his novels Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (1870), A Journey to the Center of the Earth (1864), and Around the World in Eighty Days (1873). Verne wrote about space, air, and underwater travel before air travel and practical submarines were invented, and before practical means of space travel had been devised. He is the second most translated author in the world. Verne is often referred to as the "Father of Science Fiction". His tomb is located in the Madeleine cemetery (cimetiere de la Madeleine) in Amiens, France
