Green Almond Smoothie Source: Jenna from Mommy in Manhattan 1 banana 1 cup almond milk 1 1/2 tablespoons almond butter 2-3 handfuls of fresh baby spinach ice optional: whey protein powder, cocoa, cinnamon or shredded coconut Put everything in the blender and blend until creamy. Makes 2 servings.
Green smoothies. I have this daily for lunch w/ a few adjustments to original. One Serving: 1/2 c greek yogurt (FAGE 0%), 1 1/2 c fresh spinach or Kale, 1/2 c frozen berries or tropical fruit, 1/2 c water, 1 banana. Blend until smooth...the Ninja blender works wonders!
