It was a massive beast, his paws trudging over the leaf covered ground. Yet she wasn't afraid of him and smiled instead. She greeted him lightly and stroked his large muscled back and head with her tiny hand. His eyes closed out of pleasure and he bowed down infromt of the small female, waiting for her to climb on.
"He might be only part of your life, for him, you are his everything, the only person in his whole life." This made me teary :)
Have you ever gotten "The Look" when you got home from someplace that has other pets? We know that we have - funny how they make us feel so guilty isn't it!
Sleep Time. My brain does this to me. When I try to picture sheep, I think "oh yeah where are my wool gloves, maybe I left them at work, do I work tomorrow, I really don't want to deal with children tomorrow.... how many sheep did I count? (Scott begins snoring) damn it!"
