Web friction investigation gives students chance to test multiple materials and explore their properties to determine which surface gets the skateboarder to the target fastest (and therefore has the least amount of friction!)

In this interactive investigation, students predict which surface will result in the fastest motion down a ramp. Repeated trials, measurement, data collection, and data analysis skills are highlighted in this interactive activity.

If you need a unit to grab those reluctant learners and "Power" them up, you can't do better than force and motion! It's filled with experiments, plus lots of movement and action. It's everything kids could want! Get links to everything you need on this post!
